Bleeps and bloops trickle the repetitive rhythms and drones from the acoustic bass. The music is based on complex manipulation of simple ideas and forms. The sound is the interaction of non-reactive, live-sample manipulation from the electronics, and improvisational conversation with the bass through subtly varying qualities of the simple sounds of the bass. The quality of the sound is the result of 7 years of research and exploration into the different sounds and textures coming from the acoustic bass. In the end, the album is just an imaginary story.
